Kelly Ward, M.Ed.; LPC.
Professional School Counselor
Perry Middle School | Houston County Schools
Kelly’s journey in counseling began right after high school and has taken her through summer camps, sports fields, counseling offices, churches, and, of course, school hallways. With a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, she brings both heart and expertise to every interaction. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified school counselor, Kelly is passionate about helping students thrive—not just academically, but behaviorally, socially, and emotionally. Whether it's offering a listening ear or guiding a breakthrough moment, she considers it a true joy to help young people reach their fullest potential.
Kelly is happily married to Ryan, and together they are the proud parents of three energetic children—Rylynn, Silas, and Nyla. Outside of school, Kelly trades her counselor’s chair for a seat in the bleachers, often found at a ball field or court somewhere in the Southeast, cheering on her kids and embracing her role as full-time sports mom. Her passion for supporting young people doesn't stop at the school doors—it’s a way of life.
